If the Jabberwocky Had Lived in Brooklyn

If the Jabberwocky had lived in Brooklyn, this is how the tale might have been told:

I found the above recording (by Alan Davis Drake) after seeing a recent Jabberwocky video made using Second Life. The video credits noted that the narration was read by Kristin Hughes, Project Gutenberg. I went to the Project Gutenberg site to find her original recording (sans music) and was delighted to find over 30 recordings of Jabberwocky! Project Gutenberg is officially awesome.

Credits: The illustration of the Jabberwocky is the one by John Tenniel, who also illustrated other works by Lewis Carroll. Note how the Jabberwocky is wearing a vest. That illustration is public domain. The audio recording is by Alan Davis Drake and is also public domain.
